The Swans were rampant in the Wembley final, clinching a place in next season's Europa League with a 5-0 victory over League Tow Bradford.
But following on from one of the greatest days in the club's history, Swansea have lost two of their three matches with successive defeats to West Brom and Arsenal.
But Monk is confident the team will rally after the international break, starting with the match against Tottenham at the Liberty Stadium on 30 March, and secure a place in the top 10 this season.
"I think since the Bradford game everyone has seen the effort is there," the Swansea skipper said.
"We are still doing what we did before - making blocks, picking the runners up, putting our bodies on the line.
"Maybe our quality of football wasn't as good as normal against Arsenal, but I'm confident we will finish the season strongly and fight for a top-ten finish.
"It's not great going into the international break on the back of two defeats, but we will work hard during that time and make sure we are well prepared for the next game against Spurs."
