Stoke v West Brom preview

Matthew Etherington: Hoping to return against West Brom

The winger has missed the last two games with a back problem, and is again touch and go, while striker Cameron Jerome is likely to be on the bench after being forced off with a knock to his knee in last weekend's defeat by Newcastle.

Defender Robert Huth serves the final game of a three-match ban so full-back Marc Wilson will again deputise alongside captain Ryan Shawcross in the centre.

West Brom boss Steve Clarke is unlikely to tinker too much with a starting XI which impressed during a 2-1 victory over Swansea last time out.

There is a chance that Shane Long could come back into his thoughts, but the striker is struggling to shake off a foot complaint.

Steven Reid is also doubtful, as he nurses a groin problem, but Youssouf Mulumbu is expected to be fine despite revealing on Thursday that he has been feeling unwell.
